John A. Dunn (NC CPA Certificate # 30375) was graduated from

with a BS degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting. During his school years, John worked for the Town of
Smithfield
as a lifeguard and for Sprint for two summers. Upon graduation, John returned to
Smithfield
and began his public accounting career in the family firm. John is a member of the First Baptist Church in Smithfield; is a member of the Order of the Arrow and is a Eagle Scout; is a volunteer fireman with the Smithfield Fire Department; is a member of the Rotary Club of Central Johnston County; is a Paul Harris Fellow; and is a member of both the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Claud L. Dunn, Jr. (NC CPA Certificate # 5144) was graduated from
Atlantic
Christian
College
(now
Barton
College
)
with a BS degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting. Upon graduation Claud worked with a Wilson CPA firm, interrupted by a stint in the US Army and a period of time in the NC National Guard, before leaving public practice for employment with a
Wilson
tobacconist. Realizing that public accounting offered the professional satisfaction that he sought, Claud came to
Smithfield
and worked with a local CPA firm for several years before founding this firm in October, 1978. Claud is a member of the First Baptist Church of Smithfield, where he has served as deacon and on the Finance Committee; a member of and past Master of Fellowship Lodge # 84; a charter member of and past president of the Rotary Club of Central Johnston County; is a Paul Harris Fellow; currently serves as Chairman of the Board of The Smithfield Housing Authority; and is a member of both the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
